Jason Aldean says he's glad Alabama is back performing again but he admits he's a little upset about how it came about.
Jason confesses to Nashville's "Tennessean" he was hoping to be the one who brought the veteran group out of retirement, but Brad Paisley beat him to the punch. Paisley collaborated with Alabama on the chart-topping song "Old Alabama," which is on his new CD "This Is Country Music."
But while Jason says he's "kind of mad at Paisley" over the accomplishment, he agrees the end result is a good one. Aldean explains that the guys in Alabama "need to be back at it." He adds that he really missed the band, and really enjoyed seeing them perform at the ACM Awards earlier this spring.
