Billy Currington really likes his current single, "Love Done Gone" and credits the track's catchy "bah bah bah" refrain to songwriter Shawn Camp.
Camp teamed up with Marv Green to write "Love Done Gone," and Billy says he's known for a while the track was going to be a single. He was also confident early on that it would be a hit explaining that the song has always received a strong response when he's performed it in concert, and it got the stamp of approval from his friends back home who "tell you what's real and what's not real."
"Love Done Gone" is the third single from Currington's fourth CD, "Enjoy Yourself." Fans are likely hearing Billy sing "Love Done Gone" in concert this summer as well.
He's opening shows on Kenny Chesney's "Goin' Coastal" tour.
