Keith and Clarence

Many guitarists give their instruments female names, but Keith Urban has never been big on giving his names at all.


Keith named the Fender Telecaster he's had for 22 years "Clarence." Keith explained in a recent radio interview, "I called it that after the angel in It's a Wonderful Life [because] I wondered what life would be like without that guitar."


Keith will have his favorite guitar and many more along with him when his Get Closer World Tour kicks off June 16th in Biloxi, Mississippi.
