Friday At CMA Music Festival With Reba

Reba McEntire has many memories of the CMA Music Festival, and recalls the last time she hosted a marathon autographing session at the event, which was back in the 1990s when it was still called Fan Fair.
Reba agreed to sign everything the fans brought -- and they brought a lot of memorabilia.


Reba admits that toward the end of the session she began to make mistakes but adds that she eventually made things right with that fan, and gave her a proper autograph which included the fan's name. McEntire also remembers that her parents attended her fan club party that year.


She explains that she sent her folks home once the autographing session got under way, and her dad was amazed when she and her husband, Narvel, finally arrived back home as the sun was coming up the next morning. It was 13-years before Reba held another autographing session at the event. She made her return to the Greased Lightning Fan Fair Hall to greet fans and sign memorabilia in 2009.


Reba will be performing at the second of the four Nightly Concerts at LP Field on  tonight during the 2011 CMA Music Festival. Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, and Sugarland are some of the artists who'll be sharing the stage with Reba that night.
