Lambert, Fishin' For A Name And A Song

Miranda Lambert will legally be known as Miranda Shelton.


Thankfully, country music fans will still be able to find her well-known name, Miranda Lambert — but the Texas native will be taking on her husband’s last name in her private life.


A rep for Lambert/Shelton confirms that, yes, Miranda will change her legal name and be “Miranda Shelton” on her driver’s license.


“Mrs. Shelton here! Winning!!!!!” the bride tweeted Monday, flaunting her new name. The bride and groom’s wedding pictures will be revealed tomorrow (Thursday) via Us Weekly, according to their wedding photographer’s blog.


Miranda (Shelton) Lambert and Blake Shelton went fishin’ on their honeymoon! The new Mrs. Shelton tweeted this photo with the caption, “Honeymoon bliss!!!” yesterday afternoon.


Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have reportedly recorded a new song called ‘Red River Blue’.
The song was written by Buddy Owens and Ray Stephenson whom both posted Facebook updates about the couple using their song, which Stephenson had previously recorded.
