It's A Swift Open Season

During a interview on BBC's The One Show, Taylor Swift opened up about friends and country music.

Taylor also talked about what it means to be a part of her life and how there's always a possibility that her friends will provide the inspiration for a song. "Everyone in my life kinda knows that nobody has a safety pass," she told the hosts. "Anybody can be factored into a verse or chorus at some point."

Taylor talked candidly about the subject matter of country songs. "I think that there are so many different kinds of country artists," she said. "They sing about their lives. Every artist in country music right now was raised a different way. And so, yeah, some people sing about pickup trucks, and some people sing about bars and whiskey, and I sing about love and breakups."

Taylor recently hosted a rehearsal show in Nashville which raised $750,000 for victims of the southern tornado outbreak earlier this year.
