Brad Paisley Gives Thanks To Dick Clark For The Respect

Dick Clark is the reason country music gets respect at the American Music Awards. That’s how Brad Paisley sees it. 


Brad says “it is a real honor that they, in the middle of show with some real major superstars, would take the time to sort of acknowledge little ole country music. But they do. They show us a lot of respect.” He says it “goes back to Dick Clark with the ACMs,” which, like the AMAs, Dick also produces. Brad says Dick “always has a vested interest in country music. He always had a soft place in his heart for it.”
