Andy Griggs has returned to the airwaves and the spotlight. A new single called “Can I Get an Amen,” which Griggs co-wrote and produced is already active at radio despite its add date being January 3, 2011.
The controversial song expresses Griggs’ candid feelings on political correctness and was performed at a campaign rally for Alaska Senate candidate Joe Miller. The emotion-provoking song received a standing ovation from the crowd who demanded an encore performance of the song.
Fans can hear the new song live when Griggs joins newcomer Jason Sturgeon, Average Joe recording artist Matt Stillwell and Aussie singer/songwriter Sherrie’ Austin for a special performance at The Listening Room Café inside Cummins Station in Nashville, TN this Monday, Dec 13th for “Toys for Tots.”
