Jimmy’s Bio for the contest:
After suffering through an abusive childhood, living in foster care and being homeless for a short time, Jimmy Wayne wanted to make a difference in the lives of those going through what he dealt with as a child. Jimmy started Project Meet Me Halfway to raise awareness of the fact that too many youth, especially those that are aging out of the foster care system, are facing challenging circumstances, similar to the ones he faced. With his unstoppable spirit, Jimmy even walked across America to raise awareness for the cause.
