In the April 2011 issue of Redbook, which is on stands next, Miranda Lambert, addresses that fact that she has been called “the Lady Gaga of Nashville,” an accolade the country star is not so sure she deserves. “I’m not near as brave as her [laughs], but I take it as a compliment. She’s awesome. I guess it’s the fact that I don’t give a crap what people think. I just am who I am.”

Lambert speaks on letting all of her inhibitions to be overtaken by her music. She says, “In my everyday life, I’m pretty normal. But I love the moments when I can get on stage and headbang and freak out and smash my guitar and all that too.”
