Lee Brice Eyes Kenny Chesney's 'Seven Days'

Lee Brice promises that if Kenny Chesney doesn't release 'Seven Days' from his 'Hemingway's Whiskey' album he will,

Lee is one of the song's three songwriters -- along with Billy Montana and Jon Stone -- and is confident the song is a smash.

"It's on Chesney's new record and he's about to put it out on the radio," Lee tells The Boot. "It is really exciting. If he doesn't put it on the radio, though, I'll put it on my next record!"

Lee's had great success as a songwriter, most notably when Garth Brooks took 'More Than a Memory' to the top of the charts.

Lee is now gearing up for the Higher Education tour with Jerrod Niemann, kicking off March 10 in Columbia, Mo. The show runs through April 28, ending in Live Oak, Fla.

After that, Lee heads out on this year's Country Throwdown tour with Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Craig Campbell and others. That trek starts May 27 in Philadelphia, Pa. and runs through July.
