Toby says that industry politics shouldn't play a role in determining the winner, and with the online vote those who've been entertained are naming the artist they think has done the best job.

Toby has earned the ACM Entertainer of the Year title twice before, with back-to-back wins in 2003 and 2004. The 46th annual ACM Awards will be presented in a ceremony in Las Vegas, and air on CBS on April 3rd.

I saw Toby a few years back at the X and it was a great show! I think the part I loved the most was when he got out his red, white, and blue guitar and sang,and my cheap tickets . Then, they showed a Navyman on the screen.
