Lee Ann Womack Is Busy Working on Her Next Studio Album

Lee Ann Womack is currently working on her next album, squeezing in recording time between her dates on the road with George Strait and Reba McEntire.


Womack told the Flint Journal that we can expect to hear lots of traditional country music on this new album. Lee Ann says, “Whether it be bluegrass or country or more blues oriented … We play real instruments, we don’t use tracks, you can expect real music.” She adds, “Being in the studio is probably the favorite thing about my job.”


Lee Ann, a Grammy Award-winning artist, has sold more than six million albums to date. Womack’s last album, ‘Call Me Crazy,’ was released in 2008.
