Taylor Swift Is Part of a Romantic Proposal at a Castle in Ireland

Taylor Swift and her band took some time off from their Speak Now World Tour this weekend to check out an old castle in Dublin, Ireland, Swift’s guitar player and backing vocalist, Paul Sidoti, had something even more special in mind. In front of his friends and fellow band members, Sidot popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Ashley White.


White said yes, and someone in the group snapped a photo of the soon-to-be bride and groom, pictured here, right as he asked for her hand in marriage!

Sidoti took to his Twitter as well, writing, “In a castle in Dublin, Ireland I got engaged to my love, Ashley White … Life is sweet and beautiful. Dublin, great night w/ all your sweet congrats signs and @taylorswift13 announcing my engagement to @ashleywhite25. Magical. Thank you to all the well-wishers on my engagement. We are thrilled beyond words.”


Swift and her band are continuing their Speak Now World Tour, taking England by storm.
