Gary Allan admits that last fall's vocal cord surgery was "a scary ordeal." Gary tells CountryWeekly.com that he's "feeling great" now, but it took him a while to regain his voice. "I lost my falsetto, but now I'm singing like a 16-year-old again."
In late November Allan underwent a procedure to have a polyp removed. After a lengthy stretch of doctor-prescribed vocal rest he went through vocal therapy to rebuild his strength and endurance.
Gary played his first post-polyp show at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in February.
