Gary Allan Glad To Have His Falsetto Back

Gary Allan admits that last fall's vocal cord surgery was "a scary ordeal." Gary tells that he's "feeling great" now, but it took him a while to regain his voice. "I lost my falsetto, but now I'm singing like a 16-year-old again."

In late November Allan underwent a procedure to have a polyp removed. After a lengthy stretch of doctor-prescribed vocal rest he went through vocal therapy to rebuild his strength and endurance.

Gary played his first post-polyp show at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in February.
