Toby Keith has many different things going on besides music. Restaurants and his own Mezcal drink are among some of the ways he is the highest paid singer in country music.
A special part of Toby’s dynasty is a 3 year-old race horse named “Sherriff Cogburn,” who is a certified winner.
Keith owns 330-acre Dream Walkin' Farms in Pauls Valley, Okla., where he breaks and trains his young horses and keeps a broodmare band of more than 110.
At any given time Keith has between 100 and 200 horses in training, racing them across the Midwest at places like Prairie Meadows, Remington, Oaklawn, and Sunland Park.
Toby has been involved in horse racing for more than 14 years as an owner, breeder, buyer, and pinhooker.
Toby is quite the businessman which makes him the most successful revenue generating star in country music. Besides the horses, he owns a chain of growing restaurants but also has his very own ‘Mezcal’ drink that is being released. He also has a barbeque sauce that he uses at his eating locations. Toby says his thinking process on owning various products make for good business.
