How Lady Antebellum Stays Grounded

Lady Antebellum since they first hit the country music scene in April 2008 with the debut of their self-titled album has sold millions of albums, garnered four No.1 singles, opened shows for some of country music’s biggest stars (including Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, and Tim McGraw), and most recently, embarked on their first headlining tour.

So what’s their secret to staying grounded with so many changes happening so rapidly?  “You can’t really take in everything, and part of me is sad about that, because of all the opportunities we’ve had,” Lady A’s Hillary Scott tells the Detroit Free Press. “But I also really appreciate the fact that we can’t process it all, because that’s when it starts going to your head.”

Lady Antebellum has earned five American Music Awards recently and their sophomore album, Need You Now, was recently certified triple platinum.
