Zac Brown Band Not Planning To Change Show For Bigger Venues
Zac Brown says the group's shows won't change just because they're now playing arenas. When artists headline at larger venues they typically add production elements, which results in a more standardized show, and Brown simply isn't interested in that. He tells Nashville's "Tennessean" his band has a reputation for making each concert a unique experience, and he doesn't want their shows to lose this quality. He notes, quote, "It's important for us to maintain our originality, in order for us to function as artists." Brown adds that the group has always been more focused on the music that the spectacle, explaining, quote, "What separates the men from the boys is when you hear somebody play live and it's as good or better than the record. Our goal was to make a great record and use our band and then try to reproduce that live."
