Bellamy Brothers Weighing "Legal Options" Over Britney Song
The Bellamy Brothers initially said they didn't plan to sue over the Britney Spears new song, "Hold It Against Me," a rep for the duo says they're now choosing to, quote, "weigh their legal options."
After Spears released her song earlier the Bellamy Brothers said they felt "ripped off," claiming the song is very similar to their 1979 chart-topper "If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me." David Bellamy also questioned the originality of the Britney song while discussing the matter this week with TMZ and the "Boston Herald."
David admits he's surprised to be in this situation, telling "Entertainment Weekly," "It's not every day that you get into the middle of a brawl with Britney Spears." The Bellamys' beef isn't only with Spears”
