Dierks Bentley took a break from life as a musician recently to engage in his other love: hockey.
Bentley hits the ice with his hockey team, the Nashville Iceholes, from time to time. He spends his Saturday nights handling the puck when he’s not out on the road — a hobby he’s held for ten years.
Bentley shares that hockey acts as a stress reliever for him — a way to clear his head from the hustle and bustle of the road. He adds, “I’ve had more injuries playing music than I’ve had playing hockey, let’s put it that way.”
The Nashville Iceholes have made honorary players of some big country music names, including Brad Paisley, Gretchen Wilson and Keith Urban.
