The Tennessean reports that thousands gathered in a hallway at the Music City Center, craning for a view of the ribbon-cutting and then entering a massive exhibit hall to view vendor booths and to attend a question-and-answer session and performance by Lady Antebellum.
Lady A’s Hillary Scott: “(We) just really want to engage with the fans that way and really give them something extra.”
The trio performed an acoustic set on the CMA Close Up Stage and
answered audience questions before heading to sign autographs at their
booth.
