ASCAP's Songwriter/Artist of the Year will be front and center Wednesday night as host of the CMA Awards. Brad Paisley was one of the big winners of the night. Other winners named by the performing rights organization, which sometimes hints at the CMA winners later in the week, included song of the year for "The House That Built Me."
Thirty five songs were recognized by ASCAP for the amount of airplay from country radio. The recognized group included "Our Kind of Love" from Lady Antebellum, "This," from Darius Rucker, and the "Boys of Fall," by Kenny Chesney.
